White light 'chimes' on the hour

Our work on the 75m flue stack and neighbouring turbine hall involved developing the system at our premises and extensive testing before installation and programming. The system is triggered automatically at nightfall and runs pre-programmed scenes which flood the turbine hall and flue stack with slowly changing colours, occasional contrasting colour highlights the immense turbines and scrolling white light chimes the hour. Power station staff are also able to override the automated features and choose a range of programming via a user friendly touchscreen control, also developed at Lee Engineering.

The system comprises

8 x Studio Due City Colours, 6 x Martin MAC500, 12 x Source 4 Junior, 12 x Martin Exterior 600, 7 x Pulsar Dimmer Packs, 4 x Martin Lightcorder, 1 x Cue Touchscreen Controller plus lots of generic fluorescents and halogens.
