When ASDA were building a store across the road from the new Commonwealth Games '02 stadium (now the home of Manchester City FC), a wall was needed to screen the service area from the main road. This was made a feature by illuminating it with colour changing cold cathode fittings and Lee Engineering was called upon to supply, install and program the external control cabinet which would run the lights automatically, requiring no operators.
